A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

What
inspires me.

My way of working grows with what I learn and experience. Here I share a little of the inspiration behind my approach as an osteopath.

What is A Course in Miracles?

A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is a spiritual self-study programme. For me, it is a personal source of inspiration that invites me to reflect on how I see myself and others.

What resonates with me is the practice of judging less and being present with greater openness. I try to notice when my own expectations get in the way of listening.

What do I bring to my work?

As an osteopath, I want to meet you without deciding in advance what you need. That asks something of me too: to slow down, listen and leave room for what I do not yet know.

This is where I see a connection with my functional and biodynamic approach. I use gentle touch and try to remain attentive to what happens during treatment, in conversation with you.

My inspiration, your own space.

The connection I describe here is my personal perspective on my work. ACIM is a source of spiritual inspiration for me, rather than a medical explanation of what an osteopathic treatment does.

Your beliefs, or lack of them, remain entirely your own. Your concerns, your comfort and the care that suits you are at the centre of the consultation.
